Translation

Producing a quality translation means choosing the right translator for the specific job. Differences between languages, cultures, terminology, and formality mean that the translator must have:

  • specific knowledge and experience in the industry or topic that the document covers

  • grammatical and idiomatic knowledge of the source and target languages

  • a sense of formality appropriate to the target audience

  • writing skills and talent.

We use only native-speaker translators with official accreditations, training and education. They are further matched to the specific translation by their experience and education in that business area or industry. Aardvark's translators only translate into their native language. All translated documents are subsequently proofread by an independent translator.

Correction and Proofreading

We check the spelling and grammar.

Re-writing / Stylising

Where necessary, we extensively re-work the document to ensure that it is coherent, and has the appropriate style and formality for your target audience (examples include: tourist brochures, advertising material, company prospectus etc.).
